When Sandy Stein decided to name her product, Finders Key Purse ®, she thought it would be a cute play on words. After all, the key finder helps women FIND their KEYS in their PURSE. For some people it is a bit of a tongue twister (Repeat three times: Finder Key Purse key finder). And, through the years the name has been misspelled or misinterpreted by many. Here are the most common mistakes: Finders Keepers, Finders Key Keepers, Purse Key Keepers, Purse Finders (this one sounds like a whole new product invention in and of itself), and Key Keepers. Though, Sandy Stein is the original creator and patent holder of the Finders Key Purse ® key finder, many have tried to knock her off thus making the product name confusion even worse. You can’t always put all the tips you hear or read about into practice, but you can definitely choose one and try it. A while back, I read that if you apply plain yellow mustard to stubborn tomato sauce stains on your plastic storage containers before washing them, the stains will come right off. I tried this tip and it works like magic! I was so impressed I called my husband and showed him. He didn’t quite understand why I was so elated but I didn’t care. The point is that it works and now I use this tip all the time!
Today I’m going to share five clever tips that you can use in the kitchen. Again, don’t feel like you have to try them all. My advice is to choose one and stick to it.
To cover small scratches on ceramic sinks, tiles, or white refrigerators, use typewriter correction liquid to cover them.
Vegetables should always be added to water that has already been boiling for two minutes in order to ensure that a high amount of nutrients are retained.
To remove strong food smells from your hands, dunk them in coffee grounds then wash with soap and water.
Insert paper plates between fine china plates before stacking to prevent scratches.
To prevent mold from forming on refrigerator door seals, wipe them over everyone now and then with white vinegar. *This tip also works on washing machine seals.
Life can get pretty busy so make sure you simplify it as much as you can

Today we have created a list with some of our tried and true household tips. We are all about making life a little easier!
1. You can get rid of perspiration stains on washable shirts by soaking them in white vinegar for 30 minutes before laundering. Always launder in the hottest water safe for the fabric.
2. The best way to remove cooking oil stains from clothing is with regular shampoo. just make sure it doesn’t have a built in conditioner.
3. You’ll never waste time looking for tweezers, nail clippers or small scissors again if you attach a magnetic strip inside your medicine cabinet door.
4. A quick and easy way of freshening up your sofa is to sprinkle a little baking soda beneath the cushions. The baking soda draws in the odor. Leave it for 15 mins and then vacuum away.
5. Wear a pair of old socks on your hands when dusting. It’s affordable and efficient.
6. Cleaning your windows or eyeglasses with shaving cream will keep them from fogging.
7. To keep your tub and sinks unclogged, pour one half cup of baking soda and a cup of boiling water down the drain, followed by a cup of white vinegar. Let the mixture sit overnight, and it will dissolve most hair and other buildup in your pipe drains. You can do this once a month.
8. The best way to clean dusty lampshades is to run a rolling lint remover over them.
9. A great way to keep your toothbrush clean is to soak it overnight, every few weeks, in a solution of equal parts of water and baking soda. Rinse well before brushing again.
10. The best and least expensive way to clean ceramic floors is with hot water and white vinegar.
